Danielle Francesca Lobo is the founder of The Healing Boat Inc. She is passionate about helping people contemplate a life well lived to realize their vision of a meaningful death.
Danielle is a truth-teller who rises to the challenge of holding space for the uncomfortable experience of death. She asks bold questions that help us to stay present to the intense emotional anguish. She has the courage and emotional depth to enter into the messy, complicated relationships that families have at end-of-life, with the clarity of vision for grace and ease. Committed to community justice throughout her life, she is an advocate for clients at end-of-life to ensure their needs are met.
A former commercial boat captain and still a recreational sailor, Danielle has been an adventurer and traveller her whole life. In 2015-16, she sailed across the Atlantic Ocean twice. However, she decided to leave the high seas for the more challenging journey from head to heart. In 2017, she trained as a death doula and has since been an avid student and teacher of life and death.
